| | | Spider smorgasbord So far as I can see, there seems to be one sort of tiny fly caught in the spider silk. (Jason will find more).
It does not look as though the spider has moved in on any of the flies; rather that they have been 'caught by accident'. I don't know which spider has spun the trap (web seems too posh a term for it), but if the spider is of any size, it hardly seems worth the effort to get a meal from one of the flies.
