At last I managed to upload the piccie of the fly we were discussing early last month. It isn't, as I said, a very good picture. I shall have to take more macro shots of things. Anyway, hope its enough to identify it.

Oh you think it is right? Super!!! Can't remember the date. Was a couple of days before I posted about it. Don't know how to look back. The one very hot day we had late August or early Sept. How much of the post code do you want? CT4 enough? Don't know my grid ref. Ummm. How would I find it?

Species - we have that

date - your original post is here

full postcode - I can get the grid ref via Streetmap

recorder name - PM if you don't want to put it in the forum.
