Unknown dragonfly
I took this photo recently at the Magor Marsh reserve in South Wales. I've been told it is a Migrant Hawker, can anyone confirm or let me know the real identity. I'm fairly new at this.

That's a Southern Hawker, David. The broad antehumeral stripes help with ID (between the eyes and the wings, on top of the thorax).

Agree with Deb. In addition to what she mentions, also the complete bands on the last 2 abdominal segments rather than pairs of spots as on the other segments is a good feature to look for.
