Beetlle (Latridiidae)?

Hi again,

Another which I missed when taking pics of flies! The flies are Drosophilidae and no more than 3mm long, so the beetle has to be around half that.

Again on pineapple, 25th September.

Yes, looks latridiid - I'll have a look later when I can find the key!

Yes, the pineapple has been a good attraction and I think every garden should have one. They were cheap at Morrisons or Lidls at £1 each! Where else could you get so much entertainment for that price.

Thanks Paul, even though I didn't get a closer shot the details are quite good, I can even see a raised section across the pronotum.
