Common Wasp?
I'm presuming that this is a Common Wasp, but it did appear a good bit larger than other wasps in the immediate vicinity. Is it perhaps a queen?

It's a male, the antennae are much longer in proportion to the body then "normal" worker wasp.

And it is, of course, not a Common wasp (Vespula vulgaris), but a Median Wasp (Dolichovespula media)
