Just adding to the general air of congratulations all round. 
I've just spotted one on Flickr from the Channel Islands that's also this species (almost identical view!), but that's less surprising.
First one to find Graphosoma in the UK wins a hearty slap on the back. At least metaphorically. |

Further specimens of Rhaphigaster nebulosa have recently turned up in a garden in London (Lewisham), suggesting an established population, so keep your eyes peeled in the south-east. We might have to think of a common name for this species, perhaps something like 'Clouded Shieldbug'... |

Mottled Shieldbug could be a go-er. Ashe has just flagged up further records on Flickr (including a nymph) from a garden in Peckham, not far from Lewisham! Seems like it could be quietly becoming established | | | |
