| | | Grasshopper IDs I bought the rather excellent grasshopper ID book at Birdfair - but Ive left it in my gfs car!
So can anyone help with these IDs? Both taken at Rainham marshes
Meadow? - just under 3cm
This I reckon id field, but could be large marsh as it was on the boardwalk over damp ground but I short jump for a dry grassy mound too.

The first is a male Lesser Marsh Grasshopper and the second is a female Field Grasshopper.
