Yeah, the one's I've seen have been darker and I noted the absence of the horn. So its back to the drawing board. |

| | | Re: BUG for ID please There is a Spotted Pine Aphid, Eulachnus agilis but the photos I found are not quite like yours. It does have spots, and looks similar, is also a Giant Aphid. Maybe a different stage? Conifer aphids (Aphidoidea: Lachnidae) from central Finland

| | | Re: BUG for ID please Interesting find Toby, I've certainly never seen anything like it (but I'd like to). I've photographed quite a few Giant Willow Aphids and I'm pretty sure this isn't one.
Could you maybe give us an indication of size?
