| | | What is this insect? I found one of these in the kitchen today, and it scared the life out of me. I'm not sure whether it's some kind of wasp or not, but it appears to have a huge sting(?). Help would be appreciated. |

| | | Re: What is this insect? Its an Ichneumon Wasp. Perfectly harmless, its "sting" is what is called an ovipositor this is used to lay eggs (usually inside caterpillars). |
