| | Can anyone identify these bites please? I discovered these bites on my leg 5 days ago and was wondering if anyone knows what they are? They don't itch but are quite tender and do not appear to be healing as the days are passing.
My own research suggests bed bugs because they are in a line but there was no blood or bed bug bits on my sheets and I have had a proper dismantle of my bed and matress and frame and discovered nothing so I don't think they are. I have also been in my flat for 18 months with no problem so don't think it is bed bugs.
Is there anything else that they could be?
(I do have harlequin ladybirds in my window frame sometimes but I don't think they would bite like this)
Any suggestions very welcome!
Thanks in advance! |

| | | Re: Can anyone identify these bites please? I think you have been bitten by a Harvest Mite. The tracked bites are symptomatic. These are picked up from vegetation at this time of year and can be very annoying and itchy.
Have a look at Trombiculidae - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

| | | Re: Can anyone identify these bites please? Thank you so much. Mine look exactly like other pictures of Harvest Mite bites i've looked at online... whats more I was walking outdoors a couple of days before they sprung up which seems to fit with the pattern.
Cheers. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
