help identify this tiny house bug

Hi I am wondering if anyone knows what this bug is ???

They are in our house, we had them in the kitchen really bad but my mum threw everything out and they seemed to get fewer

we still see them everywhere though (granted it isnt as bad but they are still here)

I tryed to get a good picture but this is the best my camera will do

they are about 3mm in size they have a hard shell but inside there are wings they are a brown colour and seem 2 be ok in water and land :/

please help

Some sort of wood boring beetle perhaps. Is it an old house with exposed timbers?

Looks like a woodworm to me, could be coming from anything old and wooden - furniture, floorboards, joists. Figure out which room they are appearing in and have a good check of anything wooden, there will be little trickles of dusty "sawdust" in and around the "woodworm holes" if you have an active infestation.

yes it is a old house but no exposed woodwork

also we had wood worm before we moved in but had it all treated

somebody said it looks like a biscuit beetle

I don't know at all
