Tachinid I. D. s please
I think the first is Gymnochaeta viridis,had one id on here earlier in the year, and the second is possibly Dexia rustica but thats the only thing in my book that looks anything near

Plenty around of the second one

Both taken in my garden yesterday.

The second looks like an Anthomyiid to me.
Not sure about the first, maybe a muscid Eudasyphora? At any rate, I don't think it has a tachinid's 'bristlyness'.

Unfortunately, neither of your photos are Tachinids - not enough bristles and face wrong for No 1 to be Gymnocheta ( a spring species), No. 2 is just "the wrong shape". Sorry - can't offer any suggestions for species for either.
