2.is this a Zygiella? Loads in my house at present.

And why are all the Hymenoptera given odd numbers?!

I have had honey bees with hairy abdomens but you are correct of course. I haven't seen a Megachile for a long time now. The eyes sort of looked hairy but that's pobably not so.
