I have quite a few Cuckoo Bees but none like this. They vary considerably. Is there a way of getting to the species? Or is this a case of not being able to do this from a photograph?

It has 13 antennal segments so it's a male, that is a plus for ID.
There is a test key, but you might need to show other details to be sure.
Stuart or Matt might be able to help if you can give the date it was taken, and show other details such as the spines at the base of the hind tibia and the face and mandibles.
If you have other shots post them too, as close as you can get.
