#3 not sure this is strictly a hover, but the abdomen is richly covered on gold hairs, also has very hairy eyes |

The first is possibly Eupeodes latifasciatus. The second is a female Sphaerophoria sp. ( and as such is unidentifiable, in this Genus) and the last as you say is a Syrphid and as per GC's ID - Ferdinandea cuprea.

| | | Re: A Few Hovefly IDs Please #1 is difficult from that angle but from what can be seen of the yellow spots, there does appear to be a black area between it and the abdomen edge so I would agree with Jason that it is probably Eupeodes latifasciatus male.
Although I suppose we can't totally rule out one of the more uncommon versions. |
