The first is probably a female Sphaerophoria sp., and so unidentifiable. Sorry!

#2 Melanostoma mellinum, the face is quite black with no real dust triangles and the spots are broader.
#3 probably M. scalare
#4 & 5 looks like Platycheirus scutatus male, one I've been getting this year.
#6 probably M. scalare
#7 M. scalare
#8 can't be sure but I think M. mellinum

I am inclined to go with Janet's ID - although care needed with P. scutatus as this is tricky.
Could we have the data for the recording scheme please?
