I think it's a Nephrotoma species, but not sure.

That looks like a tricky one that I don't recognise.
Have you seen these Cranefly ID Guides The Society for the study of flies (Diptera) / Draft keys to Craneflies
I've downloaded them but haven't got around to printing them and sorting into an easy use folder yet. |

Indeed - and I forget to say it's fairly uncommon, an Nb-status species I believe. If WAB requests are anything to go by indicatively it's been quite a good year for them. | | |
