Unknown insect (wasp?)
Could anyone ID this insect please? It was found exactly in this position on a Devil's Bit Scabious head (I think). Is it a type of wasp?

It's actually a fly - Conops sp. Hopefully someone will know the species...

Thick headed fly - Physocephala rufipes / Conopidae. Larvae endoparasites of the genus Bombus
