The weather didn't offer much chance of a decent picture, and so it proved. I did return with a new to me species though. Help with id appreciated. Les.   |

It looks like Gasteruption jaculator, or a close relative. Quite an insect!

Hi Jason. Upon searching further with your suggestion, it does look real close, thanks! Not easy to spot on such a grey day, spots of rain falling. It was quite small. The first of this amazing species I have seen
