| | | can insect learning and remembering? i did an exam to know that can insect remebering?
i used yellow Paper Wasps (Polistes sp).
i this exam i used three water's dropper.i set this three water's dropper in the different place.at the first week all the 3 water's dropper had water and wasps drank from these water's dropper.
at the second weed just 2 water's dropper had water.
at the third weed just 1 water's dropper had water.
in the 4th weed's days i used 1 water's dropper with random.
for example 1 2 3
2 1 3
3 2 1 .....
i saw the wasps came and when saw the 1 water's dropper hadn't water in the direct line went to the 2 water's dropper and if 2 water's dropper hadn't water in the direct line went to the 3.
i think insect can remember.

| | | Re: can insect learning and remembering? Intersting study, thanks for sharing that with us.
In view of your findings, it would appear that insects go to where they previously found water, rather than first being drawn to water by other means such as smell.

I would think you could contact someone in your own country to do with this type of study, perhaps at a University?
