Slug for ID please - poss Limax maximus
Hiya

Just saw this sliming across a patio stone and grabbed a few photos with my mobile phone camera. I think it is Limax maximus but would like confirmation please

Annoyingly it had totally disappeared when I went back outside with my camera - it must be one fast-moving slug!!

I am definitely not an expert on slugs but I don't think this is Limax maximus (leopard slug).

Here is a picture of mine for comparison.


I also had a slug like yours which was identified as Limax flavus or possibly Limax maculatus.

If your anything like me you will end up more confused.
