Flies for ID please
This one was taken on a large bramble bush. It has been suggested that it might be form ofparasitic fly, but I have no idea





I know that the dragon is a ruddy darter, but what is it eating, please?

Morning Colin, you psychic!

They are Mesembrina meridiana and th prey-item is probably some kind of Calypterate fly, but no idea which family exactly.
