Hi, a few bees for ID please. Species (and sex if possible) would be great.

I think that 1 and 3 are Bombus terrestris, and 2 and 5 are Bombus pascuorum, not sure on the genders though!

1 and 3 were definately the biggest, so I expect you are right. The 'odd-one-out' must be some sort of solitary bee?

#4 is probably a Lasioglossum female, could be L. calceatum.

Hi all. Thanks for the responses. Not sure if I shoud have asked for the sex, I was really hoping for the castes (i.e, worker, male, etc.)

Yes they were all photographed in Bristol, UK
