Sorry- this isn't British but if anyone knows the taxonomy I'd be really really grateful.
OH has it down as Geoscoptus crussus (according to the supplier) but he can't find it anywhere to check and the OSF wants to know pretty sharpish.

OH is 'other half' (ie my husband) and the OSF is the Oxford Scientific Film which is where OH (Mr Acherontia) has a contract to sell images.
I help with PP (Post Processing) and recording B (behaviour)..........pulling your leg on that last one

Why does no- one know what it is though? Is it because it isn't from the UK? Or is it? It's around 2-3 cm long. BTW (by the way) - it has been ethically sourced, if that's bothering anyone.
