The marks do match N. vespillo I think.
I had one which wsa a good 25mm long, then another about half the size but it was covered in mites so wan't easy to see the marks. I had brought both inside on my clothing at different times, the small one disappeared until the following early hours then it came out still covered in mites!

The marks can't be counted on too much!
