| | | strange loops on bee wings when i took my mounted be to the museum i had a look at it under the microscope and there were strange looopy things on them which looked like this:
what are they and what are they for? |

What part of the bee's wings were they on - in the middle or along the outside-edge? Were these on the fore ( big ones you see at rest) or the hind-wings ( the smaller ones you may see underneath)? What magnification was being used?

I also found an interesting site on honey bees, this will increase your admiration for them!
