I can't think what else this could be, but it doesn't seem right somehow. It looked a lot longer than 3-4 cm and really was bright green - even the wings. Or maybe the colour was just reflected from the leaves? In the third picture, though (which is obviously a rubbish photo - sorry!) the green seems more than just a reflection.
Puzzled!
