Bumbles and bees query

Morning all-a bit of follow up from my last post, a question about sweat bees.

These were identified as Lassioglossum, possibly calceatum. My next query is to confirm that the 2 pics show a male and a female-the male having the mahogany patches on the abdomen,(top) the female being less coloured and broader. Is that correct? ( I have several pictures showing a difference so I know it is not just a trick of the light.)







And moving up in scale, I think this is a male Bombus campestris-new to me this summer and looking very fresh. Is this right?

Both the Lasioglossum photos are of males, they have variable amounts of red on the abdomens. Compared to females, they are longer and thinner and have longer antenna. Females have a more rounded abdomen and shorter antennae:



You bumble looks ok for a B.campestris male. Males of this species range in colour from ones like yours to all black individuals.
