It is an Ascalaphid but I am not sure which species. |

Thanks for the reply and help Tiggrx. I have tried butterflies, moths and even dragonflies and bees but have been unable to id this, yet there were lots of them flying around so it can't be rare.
I have never heard of an Ascalaphid but I will look it up and see, at least I have a starting point now. |

Nice find! I'm not sure how many species there are, but this looks like Libelloides coccajus.
