Could this be Bombus humilis please?
I'd love to see one and thought perhaps this in the garden today on the red clover could just about be it... or is it yet another B. pascuorum?!

With these orange Carder bees I would be wary of putting a confident ID to a male unless I could look at the genital capsule - you do get some very "orange" (ie no black hairs) male B.pascuorum at times. This one just not look "yellow" enough at the sides of the thorax either to me for B.humilis.
