| | | Re: Can someone ID this Bug? It is a species of bee, it doesn't look quite right for honey bee, its abdomen appears the wrong shape but it could be the angle the picture was taken, will leave it to the insect experts to confirm for you.

It's a female Leaf-cutter Bee, and could be Megachile centuncularis ( but there are several quite similar/inseperable from photos).
Great shot by the way!
