Unless it is a variation of the Harlequin Ladybird (Harmonia axyridis) this has beaten me. But you don't get any medals for that!
There are a few beetles with a roughly similar shape but I can't find it amongst the 'basic list'.
Hopefully one of our specialists will come along with a better answer soon. |

How did you work out the location, Janet, I never saw any mention of location so I assumed . . .
