Identification please

This may be very common but I've no idea what it is and it's been in my garden all evening.
Thought it was just a leaf at first, (not anywhere near as blue/ grey as it looks in photo - is actually all brown).

It is a Poplar Hawkmoth.

Poplar Hawk-moth.

I fostered one for a couple of hours at work last week. Everybody was very impressed with him and we took pictures. A popular Poplar Hawk-moth he was!

Its a female too. Ive found loads this year they are breeding really well particularly on goat willow.
