| | | Biting insect ID please Sorry I have no photos. Both me and Mrs Tringa have been bitten in the last week by some small dark/black flies. They look very similar to fruit flies just ever so slightly larger and dark.
We have not seen then before this year and the bites are no fun - they swell up and really ache.
Down here in London gnat/mozzy bites are not uncommon but these are different.
Sorry for the lack of info but any ideas anyone please?
