Hi Jason - thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I've done a little research on Google and come up with the following possibility: Galerucella sagittariae. I'm sure someone (like Paul Mabbott) will come along later and say it could be that ... but ... |

| | | Re: Beetle for ID Yes, but I should think! I prefer microscopy in a lot of cases, but shape and general markings look good for the Genus which is as far as I'd like to go.
It has a kind-of semi-distinctive appearance, but it may have another closely-related species that needs closer examination to rule-out. |
