Red-veined Darter in Norfolk.

Hi.

Had a report come through on the bird pager of a red-veined darter at Felbrigg hall in norfolk so as I wasn't doing much I thought I would "twitch" a dragonfly.





This is the first year i've taken notice of Dragonflies and Damselflies so I was pleased to see one of these as I hadn't seen one before.

Good photos David- they show all the classic features of this fine mature male. A few years since I've seen one in the UK + this hasn't been a classic year (so far) for them.

A lot of the twitchers will be heading to Kent for the Southern Emerald Damselflies- up to 3 have ben recorded today.
