Unknown bug in my garden

Can someone tell me what this little fellow is and whether I should be concerned about them appearing in my vegetable and fruit patch this year?



It's about a half inch long.

Hi Alanandlyn, it's a harlequin ladybird larva - Harmonia axyridis.

I love it when people post up ones that I know!

Thank you Dave. Just read up on it and as long as it leaves my raspberries alone I'll leave them alone. At least it attacks the aphids.
