Help needed to find correct name for insect!
Can anyone tell me the right name for a large, round beige insect (furry looking) that only comes out at dusk and always appears to dive bomb your hair?! My husband always refers to them as 'mizmadores' (I don't even know how to spell that!) I tried searching the web for its correct name and to find out more about it, but had no luck. Found this website so thought I would join to see if any experts out there can help.

Sound like a cockchafer, or summer chafer.

If you've seen it recently, it could possibly be a Summer Chafer.

If you saw it around May - June, it may have been a Cockchafer.
