Both are bumblebees, Bombus spp.

Tentatively I'll suggest

1 B. hortorum
2 B. terrestris/lucorum

Stuart (Eucera) is the expert on bees so he''ll confirm or otherwise these!

#1 is Bombus hortorum

# 2 Bombus terrestris female worker. The tail is buff, and bands very deep golden yellow.
