what on earth is this?
saw this in the house the other night. never seen one before so don't have a clue what it is. anybody any ideas?

I think it called a white plume moth or something.

The first time I saw one I was hypnotised, I couldn't stop looking at it, the wings were closed and it looked alot like the Angel of the North.
