Hey so im just wondeing if i describe the moth/butterfly i seen if someone would beable to tell me what it was?

I was working the night shift at my work and a moth/butterfly came in on the papers but i have never seen anything like it before. I know nothing about them so im not getting to far googling it lol

It was huge and a light dusty brown with a dust pink dotted line down its body. The wings had the same pink on and on the edges of the wings near the body was black triangles.

I have just read over that again and i know im not making it easy for you but i honestly cant describe it any better sorry.

Perhaps an Elephant Hawkmoth - though not sure on the black triangles

Yes thats the one thanks

I just googled it and had a look at the pics some dont have the black bits on the pics but this one has it a little the one i saw had bigger black bits but still the same place
