Wasp Fly or what please?
Feeding avidly on the pollen but I suspect it may be a predator with more sinister plans.
Can you please identify for me as my isect books are unhelpful

Hard to tell from your pic, but from what I can see, it looks like either a bee or wasp to me ... but beyond that I can't help you!

Its a bee and it has a massive load of pollen in its scopa. It looks like a species of Lasioglossum to me.
