Can anyone identify these bees

Hello,

I've found a bees nest in my back garden in a pile of dead grass. The bees seem fairly calm and didn't go mental when I lifted the roof off the nest to take this pic.

I live in Herts, and the nest is in a quiet, shaded area at the bottom of the garden.

Any ideas what kind of bees they are?. I've noticed 2 interesting things about the nest, there are some large globular waxy deposits in the nest, as well as brown spherical objects.

Look to me like the Common Carder Bumblebee, Bombus pascuorum.

Now I just need to decide what to do about them!. Anyone need any bees
