Mirid no 2 for Id please

Spent ages yesterday looking for this but not finding it. The V is much more a light green than in my photo but the red is about red. A very attractive bug.

I wonder if this could be a variation of Deraeocoris flavilinea. Front and rear of prontotum narrowly white.

I'm about to post one, which looks quite different but I think is that.

Certainly looks like an unusually dark flavilinea female to me. What size was it?

I'd say 6mm in length...

I've been checking on this further and the photo looks very like one I came across of Lygus pratensis - is that likely?

Lygus is also a good call, especially for the antennal colouring, and at 6 mm it would fit slightly better than D. flavilinea (normally closer to 8) even though I've not seen many Lygus with a pronotum so dark. The Lygus species are really hard to separate with any certainty, although the colouring is more typical of pratensis than of other species. It's certainly not a classic example of it, but could well be that!

definitely Lygus - as Joe says, very difficult from a photo. In the southeast reddish examples like this are usually L. pratensis
