I would appreciate some help IDing this beetle found today in Buckinghamshire. Could it be a female Oedemera nobilis as there was a male nearby and there are some similarities? However a online image search suggests not.

Evening Aaron,
This is indeed an Oedemera - but not nobilis' female. It's one of the other two, virescens or lurida but these ones can be tricky and may call for the need of a specimen.

On second thoughts - it could be an aged nobilis female, I've seen a few bronzed individuals instead of the usual shining-emerald green. The wing-cases aren't touching either, which has made me re-think it. |
