| | | Green bug Hi,
I haven't been able to find this anywhere. Found dead inside on 29th June, around 5mm long.
Any clues welcome.

Pale antennae bases, no "circular black mark at the apex of the wing membrane cells"

| | | Re: Green bug hard to tell, but certainly solitarius or horvathi. Is hedge woundwort present in the general area? |

| | | Re: Green bug Could easily be Tristan, I have hedgrows and woods all around me. I haven't noticed Hedge Woundwort in particular though.
There's no visible black circular marks so it's pointing to solitarius, enlarge the pics more and you can easily see that.

| | | Re: Green bug Tristan, I put the bug on a plant saucer and it's still there if you want it! I checked, took a couple more pics and it looks OK still.

| | | Re: Green bug Sure this will be solitarius - check the femora to confirm (should be plain rather than spotted). I doubt horvathi has got as far as Lincs in any case |

| | | Re: Green bug Femora can be seen in one of the above pics, they are hairy and plain.
I took two more pics, it only has two legs left! It also has a hole under the abdomen, looks drained so might have been sucked out by a fly.
That's a dot for Lincolnshire.
