| | | Unknown White / Pale Green Spider Hello all,
I've been reading the various sections of WAB for some months and find it fascinating, especially the knowledge of members. This is my first foray into the fora!
This morning I saw this spider in my garden and, though it is probably common, it is unusual to me. The body is about 7mm long and has some clear indentations on it. In colour it is white or a very pale green and I noticed that it had caught a bumble bee.
I've uploaded 3 images, trying to show it from various angles.
I've searched the forum and my solitary insect book without success. Please can members identify it for me?
Thanks

| | | Re: Unknown White / Pale Green Spider Thanks for that John. Once you pointed me in the right direction, I now have read that it can turn from white to yellow and back again, depending which flower it is on - though it does take several days to do so.
Wonderful forum!
