Spotted this yesterday on heathland - Chobham Common. I assume it's a chrysalis of some kind, does anyone know what it is?  |

It looks like an egg sac of the spider Agroeca brunnea with the surrounding mud washed off! |

Agree with Agroeca egg sac, maybe the female was disturbed before she could cover it with earth? |
