Wasp IDs please?


Is this chrysis ignita?



I don't think I can be sure on this solitary wasp, but best match I could see was Argogorytes mystaceus?

I'm guessing the ruby-tailed wasp was waiting for the other to lay her eggs before sneaking in and laying hers!!

The brightly coloured one is a Chrysidid, and the other (possibly its host) looks like it could be the Eumenid wasp Symmorphus bifasciatus
