I'd say yes, it looks the same as the ones in the Gallery. |

Afternoon Gordon,
It's a Leaf-cutter Bee, Megachilidae ( note the lack of reddish markings on the basal end of the abdomen, and hairier underside).

Thanks for the ID, i have seen this Bee a few times on my lupins, it also likes searching my house wall, looking for holes, it even enters holes that are covered in cobwebs ... | | |
